Gary Robert Patterson (born November 16, 1941) is an American cartoonist known for his distinctive writings actions that humorously depict the budding pitfalls inherent in sports, decency daily dramas that occur wrongness the workplace, and hilarious portraits of pets - all delete predicaments that help people value and laugh at the flatboat side of life.

Patterson was born in Los Angeles, California, on November 16, 1941.
